FACIAL RECOGNITION & THERMAL DETECTION
The facial recognition and thermal detection terminal device can detect elevated skin temp brought on by various external causes, Can be widely used in aisles, gates, buses, and other controlled entrances of areas for various reasons, including security.
Below are a few outlined features of the device:
- Recognizes and stores 30,000 faces
- Touch Screen
- Several methods to connect-WIFI/Bluetooth/Ethernet
- Thermal Imaging-Green or red light pass or fail
- Non-contact measurement to avoid physical contact
- Immediately alarming to notify operators-irregular temp
- Alarms-no mast option
- All detection to reduce false alarms from other heat sources
- One year warranty
Accessories can also be purchased for many different mounting applications tailored to meet the customer needs, other devices such as WIFI-Rangers can also be purchased for remote access.
INDOOR AIR TESTING & PURIFICATION
The Commercial Air Purification products provide innovative, reliable solutions to challenging Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) concerns in all commercial buildings. Utilizing UV-C technologies in combination with high-grade physical filtration, the in-duct and standalone units reduce airborne microbial. The units are designed to eliminate sick building syndrome risks by reducing odors and air pollutants. The in-duct air purifier is the best solution for a commercial building application. It is effective against three categories of indoor air pollutants: Particulates, Microbial, and Gases. The in-duct air purifier produces Hydro-Peroxide Plasma that is distributed through the air handler, through the duct system and into the conditioned space.
Unlike passive air technologies, which need pollutants to pass through the unit for purification or filtration, the in-duct air purifier system sweeps through your building actively purifying pollutants at the source. In addition, the charged plasma induces particles to coagulate or stick together making them bigger and easier for your filter to catch. Hydro-Peroxide occurs naturally in the earth’s atmosphere and is part of nature’s process of cleaning the air. The IWave devices are bi-polar, meaning they use two emitters to create equal amounts of positive and negative ions. The IWave technology generates the same ions that nature creates with lightning, waterfalls, ocean waves, etc.
- The dual ionizers will reduce airborne particulates (dust, dander, pollen, mold spores).
- Kills up to 99% of bacteria, mold and viruses
- Our system reduces sneeze germs by 99% in the time a sneeze can reach three feet.
- New zinc ions kill 99% of viruses on surfaces
- Unlike portable units that are limited to the room in which they are placed, our purifiers provides whole building air and surface purification.
- Easily integrated with your existing HVAC system. The unit doesn’t take up space inside the building and operates silently.
- Two quick release features for easy, no tool, cell replacement.
- Incorporates an adjustable shroud around the REME® cell, which allows customization of the advanced oxidation plasma

ASSESSMENT STRATEGIES
Below you will find the assessment Strategies that Edwards Electrical & Mechanical will look for while going through your building systems. We will work to find our best recommended solutions possible for helping to get the facility to the appropriate Indoor Air Quality that can be achieved per EPA standards.
Dilution: Increase Ventilation with Outdoor Air
- Assess unit’s capabilities to increase the Minimum outside air on all units based on time of day on an office space and or classroom based on occupancy. Implement a purge cycle at night for increased ventilation in the building. Adjust the Economizer set point to allow for maximum damper position attainable to units specifications and operation limits.
Exhaust: Maintain Proper Building Pressurization
- Check operation of building static pressure sensors and or make recommendations on installation of sensors if no static pressure sensors exist. Also assess if more static pressure sensors are needed to ensure the correct pressure of the building is achieved.
Contain: Maintain Proper Building Temperature and Relative Humidity
- Installation of Humidity Sensors throughout the building, with the increase of outside air in the building space you will need to control humidity better for occupants comfortability.
Clean: Utilize Air Cleaning Technology Appropriately
- Upgrade current filters in your main buildings Air Handler/ Roof Top Units to Merv 13 specifications.
- Assess options for UV lights (Active / Passive)
- Active Systems will work in occupied condition spaces continuously. They are also effective on surfaces and air.
- Passive Systems will require contact with system to work (EX. Bug Zapper). Requires multiple passes to be effective and does not work on surfaces or air in occupied areas (EX. UV Coil Sanitation).
- BioFresh Evaporator coil cleaning 2 to 4 times a year that clean bacteria that accumulates on coils.
